Maggie is a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist. She graduated from Illinois State University in December 2013 with a Bachelor's of Science in Parks and Recreation Administration-Therapeutic Recreation Sequence. In the summer of 2013, she interned at Helping Hand Center's Adult Day Program's Recreation Department. Throughout high school and college, Maggie has worked with a number of different populations of people with disabilities from young children with behavioral/emotional disorders to adults with developmental disabilities to individuals with dementia/Alzheimer's. While attending Marist High School, Maggie played volleyball and soccer. She received All-Area, All-Conference, and an All-Sectional award for her achievements throughout her 4 years as a varsity soccer player.
